The foundation for a successful career begins with education and WhatIF Foods recognizes that attending a college or university may not be feasible for all students and their families. 


Having a deep experience in the food industry, WhatIF Foods recognizes the importance of food related degrees, agriculture, food science, and the culinary arts in order to help the world. We would like to give the opportunity to the next generation to continue following their passion.

Application 

Process


We are making this application fun for students. Applicants must make 3 original food related Memes (see section below explaining how to make meme. Memes can have anything to do with food, agriculture, food related science, or food related health.


In order to participate, applicants must send their works via email to apply@whatif-foods.school by July 20th, 2022, at 9 a.m. PDT. In the body of the email, please include the following information:


  • Your name, address, and phone number
  • If you are under 18, the contact information for your parents
  • The name of the school you are attending
  • Your current or intended course of study


Your 3 Memes will be rated on the following subject matter:


  • Originality
  • Creativity
  • Relevancy to current food related topics

Once the application period has ended, our scholarship committee will review the Memes and choose the scholarship recipient by July 27th, 2022.


Eligibility 

Requirements


  • Applicant must be attending or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university in the United States, Singapore, or Malaysia during the 2022-2023 academic year.

  • Applicant must be in good academic standing.

  • Applicant must be planning or currently pursuing a major or minor in at least one of the following: culinary arts, baking and pastry arts, professional cooking, food science, life science, agriculture, or botany.

How do I make a meme?

We are accepting applicants from all countries!

What If I am not in any of the required majors? 

Applicant must be planning or currently pursuing a major or minor in at least one of the following: culinary arts, baking and pastry arts, professional cooking, food science, life science, agriculture, or botany.


If you are not, then you will not be eligible to receive our scholarship.

How many students will get the scholarship?

There will be one student who receives the scholarship.

When will the student receiving the scholarship be selected?

We will select student receiving the scholarship within 7 days of the submission deadline.
